How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the generator and disconnect battery negative before opening the control panel.
- Check contrast/brightness: Some Scheppach panels have a contrast or brightness adjustment. Verify it is not turned down.
- Inspect fuses: Look for a small fuse dedicated to the display or HMI. Replace if blown.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Carefully open the controller housing and reseat the ribbon cable connecting the main board to the display.
- Dry moisture: If condensation is present, dry the panel gently and improve enclosure sealing.
- Replace HMI: If the display remains blank, replace the HMI/display module with the correct Scheppach part.
