How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Do not open the cooling system when hot. Allow the engine to cool completely.

Locate leak: Inspect hoses, radiator, water pump, and reservoir for wet spots or dried coolant residue.
Tighten clamps: Gently tighten hose clamps at all connections. Replace any clamps that are rusted or broken.
Replace damaged hoses: Install new coolant hoses if cracks or bulges are present.
Radiator or pump leaks: If coolant is seeping from the radiator core or water pump weep hole, these components should be replaced by a technician.
Refill and bleed: Refill with correct coolant and bleed air from the system before returning to service.

Coolant puddle under generator or visible coolant dripping from hoses or radiator.
