Possible Causes
Corrupted controller firmware, Power surge or low-voltage event, Internal controller hardware failure, Loose controller harness connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF all power to the controller, including battery and any auxiliary supplies, before disconnecting connectors.
- Power cycle: Disconnect the battery negative and wait at least 60 seconds. Reconnect and power up the controller to see if E13 clears.
- Inspect connectors: Remove the main controller plug(s) and inspect for bent pins, corrosion, or moisture. Dry thoroughly and apply appropriate contact cleaner if needed. Reseat firmly.
- Check supply voltage: Verify that the controller is receiving stable DC supply within the specified range (often 9–32 V). Correct any wiring or charger issues causing undervoltage.
- Firmware update: If supported, update the controller firmware using Wacker Neuson-approved tools and files.
- Replace controller: If E13 persists and wiring and voltage are correct, the controller module itself may need replacement.
