Possible Causes
Open circuit in mains sensing leads, Incorrect voltage range configured, Blown fuse in sensing circuit, Faulty mains sensing input on controller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Work only with mains power isolated and locked out. Verify absence of voltage before touching sensing circuits.
- Check fuses: Locate and test any fuses protecting the mains sensing lines. Replace blown fuses with the correct rating.
- Inspect wiring: Verify that the sensing leads from the ATS or mains connection are correctly landed on the controller terminals and are tight.
- Measure mains voltage: Confirm that actual utility voltage is within the expected range. If outside, adjust controller settings or consult the utility provider.
- Controller configuration: Ensure the controller is set for the correct mains voltage and phase configuration (single/three-phase).
- Replace controller if needed: If wiring and voltage are correct but E19 persists, the controller's sensing input may be defective.
