Controller display is blank or intermittent even though the battery is good.

Safety first: Turn OFF the generator and disconnect the battery negative cable before opening the control panel.

• Check controller fuse: Locate the low‑voltage fuse feeding the WEN controller. Test and replace any blown controller fuse with the correct rating.
• Inspect power wiring: Verify that the controller's power and ground wires are securely connected and not corroded.
• Check display ribbon cable: If the controller has a separate display module, reseat the ribbon cable between the main board and display.
• Replace controller or display: If power and wiring are good but the display remains blank, replace the controller display module or entire control board as per WEN service procedures.
