Safety first: Turn OFF the generator, disconnect the battery negative cable, and ensure all internal components are dry before attempting to start.

• Dry the interior: Use clean rags and, if necessary, a low‑heat blower to dry water from the control panel, wiring, and engine surfaces.
• Inspect gaskets and seals: Check door and panel gaskets for cracks or gaps. Replace worn enclosure gaskets.
• Secure panels: Ensure all access panels are properly aligned and fastened with the correct screws to maintain weather resistance.
• Clear drains: Locate and clear any enclosure drain holes so water can escape.
• Correct site grading: Ensure the concrete pad is level and not allowing water to pool under or around the generator.
