Generator will not start at all, no crank, no click from starter

Possible Causes
Dead battery, blown control fuse, loose battery ground cable, failed ignition switch or start relay on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the generator is isolated from utility by opening the main AC breaker. Keep the controller in OFF while troubleshooting.
- Check battery voltage: Measure across the battery terminals. If below 12.0 V, charge or replace the battery.
- Inspect battery cables: Confirm both positive and negative cables are tight and free of corrosion at the battery and chassis ground point.
- Check control fuses: Locate the DC control fuses inside the control compartment. Replace any blown fuses with the correct rating and investigate the cause if they blow again.
- Test start relay: Have a helper command a start while you listen for a click from the start relay on the control board. No click may indicate a failed relay or controller output, requiring board or relay replacement.
