Battery repeatedly goes dead between weekly exercise runs.

Safety first: Wear eye protection when working on batteries.

• Measure float voltage: With utility power present, check battery voltage. If below ~13.0 VDC, the battery charger may not be working.
• Inspect charger fuse: Locate and test the charger fuse in the control panel.
• Check for added loads: Remove any non-factory devices connected to the generator battery.
• Replace battery: If the charger is good but the battery will not hold charge, replace it with the correct Winco-specified battery.
