• Check generator breaker: Ensure the generator output breaker on the unit is in the ON position.
• Observe transfer switch: During an outage or test, listen for the ATS contactor to operate. No sound may indicate a control signal issue.
• Manual test (if equipped): Some Winco ATS units have a manual test/transfer handle. Follow the ATS manual to test transfer with generator running.
• Inspect control cable: Verify the low-voltage control cable between generator and ATS is intact and not damaged.

Internal ATS contactor or control board failures must be serviced by a licensed electrician or generator technician.
