How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing the console or UI panel.
- Check for stuck buttons: Press each button on the control panel several times. If any button feels stuck or does not click, gently work it free. Wipe the panel with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Power reset: Unplug the unit for 2–3 minutes, then reconnect and see if the error clears.
- Inspect for moisture: If the unit is in a humid area, condensation can affect the keypad. Allow the console to dry for several hours with power disconnected.
- Access UI connections: Remove the console to access the user interface board and ribbon cable. Ensure the ribbon is fully seated and not damaged.
- Test UI: If available, run the built-in diagnostic mode to test individual keys. If certain keys do not respond or F2 persists, replace the user interface / control panel assembly.
