Possible Causes
Failed water level pressure switch, Blocked pressure hose, Air dome clogged with debris, Loose wiring to pressure sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and shut off water supply before servicing.
- Check drain and load: Ensure the tub is not overfilled and that the drain hose is installed correctly (not siphoning). Remove excess water if necessary.
- Inspect pressure hose: Access the top of the tub and locate the small rubber or plastic hose running to the pressure switch / water level sensor. Check for kinks, cracks, or disconnections.
- Clear blockages: Remove the hose from the sensor and blow through it to ensure it is clear. If blocked, clean or replace the hose. Inspect the air dome on the tub for soap scum or debris and clean it.
- Check wiring: Verify the connector at the pressure sensor is secure and free of corrosion.
- Test sensor: Using a multimeter and the service manual, test the pressure switch or analog sensor for proper resistance or voltage changes when pressure is applied. Replace the water level pressure switch / sensor if out of spec.
