Possible Causes
Clogged inlet water filter screens, Defective water inlet valve, Low or no water supply pressure, Faulty water level pressure switch or hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water taps before disconnecting hoses.
- Check household water supply: Ensure the cold (and hot, if used) water taps feeding the machine are fully open and that other taps in the house have normal pressure.
- Clean inlet filters: Turn off taps, unscrew the inlet hoses from the rear of the washer-dryer, and remove the small mesh filters inside the valve inlets. Rinse under running water and brush off debris, then reinstall.
- Inspect inlet hoses: Check for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage. Replace damaged hoses.
- Test a fill: Reconnect hoses, open taps, plug in the machine, and start a quick wash. Listen for the inlet valve clicking and water entering. If E02 reappears and no water flows, suspect a faulty inlet valve.
- Check pressure switch hose: With power off, locate the small rubber hose from the bottom of the tub to the pressure switch. Ensure it is not kinked, blocked, or detached. Blow gently through it to confirm it is clear.
- Replace inlet valve if needed: Remove the top cover, disconnect the wiring and hoses from the water inlet valve assembly, and install a new Amica-compatible valve, ensuring seals are seated correctly.
