Drain Pump Timeout / Drain Fault
Washer-dryer does not drain; water remains in drum and E03 is displayed

Possible Causes
Blocked drain pump filter, Clogged drain hose, Foreign object jammed in drain pump, Failed drain pump motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance. Water may spill when opening the filter—have towels and a shallow tray ready.
- Access the pump filter: Open the lower service flap on the front of the machine. Place a tray under the filter cap.
- Drain residual water: If equipped with an emergency drain hose, pull it out and drain into a container. Otherwise, slowly loosen the filter cap to let water out gradually.
- Clean the filter: Remove the filter completely and clear lint, coins, buttons, and other debris. Check inside the pump housing for obstructions and remove them carefully.
- Inspect the impeller: Spin the pump impeller with your finger. It should turn freely with slight resistance. If it is seized, wobbly, or broken, the pump must be replaced.
- Check the drain hose: Inspect the hose from the pump to the standpipe or sink for kinks or clogs. Detach and flush it with water if necessary.
- Test operation: Refit the filter, close the flap, plug in the machine, and run a drain or spin program. If the pump hums but does not move water, or E03 returns, replace the drain pump.
