Possible Causes
Leaking door gasket, Loose hose clamp on tub or pump, Cracked tub or sump hose, Faulty detergent drawer or overflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close water taps immediately to prevent further leakage.
- Check for visible leaks: Look around the door, detergent drawer, and rear hoses for dripping water.
- Inspect base tray: Remove the lower front panel or tilt the machine slightly (with assistance) to check for water in the base. If water is present, dry the tray thoroughly with towels and a sponge.
- Locate the source: Remove the top and rear panels. Run a short fill cycle while observing hoses, the tub, pump, and connections. Look for drips or sprays.
- Repair leaks: Tighten or replace hose clamps, replace cracked hoses or a torn door gasket, and ensure the detergent drawer is not overfilled or blocked.
- Reset anti-flood: Once the leak is fixed and the base is completely dry (including the float switch area), reconnect power and test. If E13 persists with a dry base, the float switch or wiring may be faulty and require replacement.
