How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before accessing the control panel.
- Power reset: Disconnect power for 10–15 minutes to allow the electronics to fully discharge, then reconnect and test.
- Inspect control connections: Remove the top cover and control panel fascia. Check the ribbon cable and connectors between the user interface board and main PCB. Reseat all connectors firmly.
- Check for moisture: Look for signs of water ingress around the control panel (from steam or leaks). Dry carefully and address any source of moisture.
- If E22 persists: The user interface board or main PCB may be defective. Replacement of the affected board is usually required and is best done by a technician.
