Possible Causes
Defective electronic pressure sensor, Blocked pressure hose or air chamber, Loose connector at pressure sensor, Faulty PCB analog input
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance.
- Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover and locate the pressure sensor and its hose. Ensure the hose is intact, not kinked, and firmly attached at both ends.
- Clean air chamber: At the tub connection, remove and clean the air trap to clear detergent sludge that can block pressure transmission.
- Check sensor connector: Reseat the electrical connector on the pressure sensor. Look for corrosion or bent pins.
- Replace pressure sensor: If the hose and chamber are clear but E31 persists, replace the electronic pressure sensor with an Amica-specified part.
