Unpleasant musty or moldy smell from drum or during drying

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before cleaning internal parts.

• Run cleaning cycle: Run an empty 60–90°C maintenance wash with a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar (check Amica guidance) to kill bacteria and remove residues.
• Clean gasket: Wipe the door seal folds with a cloth and mild detergent, removing visible mold and debris.
• Leave door open: After use, leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open to allow drying and prevent mold growth.
• Clean pump filter: Remove trapped lint and debris that can cause odors.
