Possible Causes
Loose clamp on sump hose, Cracked sump hose between tub and pump, Leaking drain pump housing, Split recirculation or vent hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close water taps. Tilt the machine only with assistance to avoid injury.
- Remove panels: Take off the rear and/or lower front panel to inspect the underside while running a short fill and wash (use caution around live parts; ideally use a technician for live tests).
- Identify leak source: Look for drips from the black sump hose, pump body, or smaller hoses. Water trails or limescale marks can indicate the source.
- Tighten or replace: Tighten hose clamps, replace cracked hoses with Amica-compatible parts, and replace a leaking pump housing.
- Dry base: Thoroughly dry the base tray and any leak sensors before reassembly.
