Possible Causes

Blocked airflow, failed cycling thermostat stuck closed, failed NTC sensor, stuck heater relay

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Stop the cycle, unplug, and allow full cooling before inspection.

Steps:

  • Clean airflow paths: Thoroughly clean lint filters, ducts, and condenser (if fitted).
  • Check thermostats: Access the dryer heater housing and test thermostats/thermal cut-outs for correct operation (open/closed at room temperature per specs).
  • NTC sensor: Verify dryer NTC resistance (see F13) and replace if out of range.
  • Control board: If heater remains on when it should be off, the heater relay on the PCB may be stuck and the board must be replaced.

Warning: Overheating is a fire hazard; do not use the dryer until the cause is corrected.
