Possible Causes

Open-circuit drain pump, loose or burned pump connector, broken wiring between pump and control board, failed pump triac/relay on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the machine and prepare for residual water drainage.

Diagnosis:

  • Check pump operation: Enter a drain or spin cycle and listen. If the pump is silent and F11 appears, proceed with electrical checks.
  • Inspect pump connector: Access the pump from the front lower panel or rear (model dependent). Ensure the connector is secure and not burned.
  • Measure pump resistance: With the machine unplugged, disconnect the pump and measure coil resistance. If open or very low, replace the pump.
  • Wiring continuity: Check continuity from the pump connector back to the control board.
  • Control board: If pump and wiring are good, the pump driver on the PCB may be faulty, requiring board replacement.

Note: Always clear the pump filter of debris when replacing or testing the pump.
