Possible Causes

Closed or restricted water supply valves, Clogged inlet filters at Asko water valves, Failed water inlet valve solenoid, Faulty water level pressure sensor or hose

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the appliance before removing any panels. Turn off both hot and cold water taps.

  • Check water supply: Confirm that the household water taps feeding the Asko combo are fully open. Verify water pressure by briefly disconnecting a hose and running it into a bucket.
  • Clean inlet screens: Turn off water, remove the inlet hoses from the rear of the machine, and inspect the small metal or plastic filters inside the valve ports. Rinse out sediment under running water and reinstall.
  • Inspect hoses: Ensure hoses are not kinked or crushed behind the unit. Straighten or replace as needed.
  • Test inlet valve: With power disconnected, access the water inlet valve assembly from the top or rear. Check wiring connectors for secure fit. Use a multimeter to test each solenoid coil for continuity. A reading of open circuit indicates a failed valve that must be replaced.
  • Check pressure sensor and hose: Locate the water level pressure sensor and its thin rubber hose. Make sure the hose is not kinked, split, or blocked with detergent residue. Clean or replace the hose if needed.

If E02 persists after these checks, the main control board may not be energizing the valve correctly; professional diagnosis is recommended.
