Safety: Do not repeatedly reset a breaker that trips. Unplug the appliance and leave it disconnected until inspected.

Isolate stage: Note when the trip occurs (during fill, heat, spin, or dry). This helps identify the suspect circuit.
Inspect wiring: Remove panels and visually inspect wiring looms for cuts, pinch points, or burn marks. Repair or replace damaged sections.
Test heaters to ground: With a multimeter, test resistance between each heater terminal and chassis ground. Any low resistance indicates a ground fault; replace the tub heater or dryer heater as appropriate.
Check motor insulation: Test between motor windings and chassis; replace the motor if leakage is detected.

Because of shock and fire risk, if you are not experienced with electrical testing, contact a qualified technician.
