How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the unit to cool before servicing the heater.
- Check for hot wash function: Run a hot wash cycle and see if the water warms. If not, suspect the internal heater.
- Access heater: On many Avanti combos, the wash heater is mounted in the lower front or rear of the tub. Remove the appropriate panel to access it.
- Test heater element: Use a multimeter to check continuity of the heater. Replace if open or shorted.
- Inspect wiring and sensor: Verify secure connections to the heater and associated temperature sensor.
