How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit. Do not force the door open with excessive strength as this can damage the cabinet.
- Wait for delay: Some Avanti combos have a short delay before unlocking. Wait 2–3 minutes after cycle end.
- Manual release: Access the manual door release (if provided) through the pump access panel or behind the front panel. Pull the release tab to open the door.
- Inspect lock assembly: Once open and power is off, remove the door lock assembly and check for mechanical binding or burnt components.
- Replace lock: If the lock does not actuate properly or tests faulty, replace it with the correct Avanti door lock assembly.
