Possible Causes
Load clustered on one side of drum, Mixed heavy and light items, Worn suspension springs or shock absorbers, Unit not leveled on floor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep hands clear of the drum while it is moving. Unplug the unit before adjusting feet or internal components.
- Redistribute the load: Open the door when safe, remove some items, and rearrange the remaining laundry evenly around the drum. Avoid washing a single heavy item alone.
- Check leveling: Use a bubble level on top of the Avanti combo. Adjust the front and rear leveling feet so the unit is stable and does not rock when pushed diagonally.
- Inspect suspension (advanced): With power unplugged and top/rear panel removed, inspect suspension springs and shock absorbers for oil leakage, breakage, or detachment. Replace worn components in pairs.
- Run a test spin: Run a spin-only cycle with a small, balanced load (e.g., a few towels). If E4 persists, the out-of-balance detection system or suspension may require professional service.
