Possible Causes
Blocked pressure hose or air chamber, Faulty water level (pressure) switch, Loose wiring to pressure sensor, Control board misreading level signal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and shut off water supply before opening panels.
- Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top panel. Locate the small rubber or plastic hose running from the tub/air dome to the pressure switch. Check for kinks, cracks, or blockages. Detach and blow through the hose to ensure it is clear.
- Check air chamber: At the tub connection, inspect the air dome or chamber for detergent residue or lint buildup. Clean carefully with warm water and a soft brush.
- Reseat electrical connectors: Ensure the wiring harness to the pressure switch is firmly connected and not corroded.
- Test operation: Reassemble and run a small test cycle. If the unit still misreads water level and shows E7, the pressure switch may be defective.
- Replace pressure switch: Swap the water level switch with an Avanti-compatible replacement if it fails continuity or resistance tests per service documentation.
