Possible Causes
Stuck-open water inlet valve, Faulty pressure switch not detecting full level, Leaking tub-to-pump hose or internal hose, Loose clamp on internal hose connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and shut off water supply immediately if overflow or leaks are observed. Mop up standing water to prevent slipping.
- Inspect inlet valves: With water supply turned off, disconnect hoses and check for debris that may prevent the valve from closing. If water continues to flow into the tub when the unit is unplugged and water is turned on, the inlet valve is stuck open and must be replaced.
- Check internal hoses: Remove the rear and/or front panel. Inspect the tub-to-pump hose, pump-to-drain hose, and any recirculation hoses for cracks, holes, or loose clamps. Tighten clamps and replace damaged hoses.
- Verify pressure switch hose: Ensure the pressure hose is securely attached and not leaking air, which can cause overfilling.
- Test after repair: After correcting leaks or replacing the inlet valve, run a short wash cycle while monitoring for leaks and proper fill level.
