Step-by-step cleaning:
- Clean gasket: Wipe the door gasket thoroughly with a cloth and a mild bleach solution or washer cleaner, paying attention to folds.
- Run maintenance wash: Run an empty 60–90°C cycle with a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar (check Balay recommendations) to remove internal residues.

- Ventilation: After each use, leave the door and drawer slightly open to allow drying and prevent mold growth.
