Washer-dryer vibrates excessively and "walks" across the floor during spin

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before adjusting feet. Do not place hands under a rocking machine.

Step-by-step checks:

• Remove transport bolts: If newly installed, check the rear of the machine for any remaining shipping bolts and spacers. Remove all as per Balay instructions.
• Level the appliance: Adjust the front and rear feet so the washer-dryer is stable and level in all directions. Lock the feet if possible.
• Check shocks and springs: Inspect shock absorbers and suspension springs for wear as described in other entries.
• Load distribution: Avoid washing single heavy items alone. Mix large and small items to improve balance.
