Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter or air duct, scaled or partially failed dryer heater, faulty dryer NTC sensor, overloaded drum, insufficient spin before drying
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug and allow the unit to cool.
Airflow and load:
- Lint removal: Clean the lint filter (if accessible) and air ducts. Vacuum lint from rear vents and around the dryer heater.
- Spin first: Ensure a high spin speed is used before drying to remove as much water as possible.
- Load size: Do not exceed the specified drying capacity (often lower than wash capacity). Dry smaller loads for better results.
- Sensor and heater: If drying remains poor, test the dryer NTC and heater as in F13/F14.
