Possible Causes
Blocked pressure hose, faulty pressure switch contacts, blocked pump or filter, wiring issue between pressure switch and control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit. Prepare towels for water spillage.
Combined checks:
- Clean pump filter and hose: Follow the same steps as for a drain blockage: open the lower flap, remove and clean the filter, and check the drain hose for obstructions.
- Verify pressure hose: Remove the top cover and inspect the thin hose from the tub to the pressure switch. Ensure it is not kinked, split, or blocked. Blow through it to confirm it is clear.
- Check switch operation (mechanical type): Gently blow into the pressure switch port; you should hear 1–3 distinct clicks as pressure increases. No clicks or continuous airflow suggests a faulty switch.
Resolution: If cleaning the hose and pump does not clear F05, replace the pressure switch. Reset power and test a drain/spin program.
