Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and remove any standing water via the emergency drain hose.
Electrical checks:
- Access pump: Remove the lower front panel or rear panel (model dependent) to reach the pump.
- Measure resistance: Disconnect the pump connector and measure across the pump terminals. Typical resistance is 150–300 Ω. Infinite or very low resistance indicates a faulty pump.
- Check harness: Inspect the wiring from the pump to the control board for breaks or burns.
Resolution: Replace the drain pump if the winding is open or shorted. If the pump tests good but F11 persists, the control board pump driver may be defective and the board may need replacement.
