Possible Causes
Open or shorted dryer NTC sensor, loose NTC wiring, lint buildup around dryer sensor, failed dryer control circuit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the washer-dryer and allow it to cool.
Check dryer NTC:
- Locate sensor: On Bauknecht washer-dryers, the dryer NTC is typically mounted on the air duct or heater housing at the rear or top.
- Inspect and clean: Remove lint and dust from around the sensor and duct to ensure proper airflow.
- Measure resistance: Disconnect the NTC and measure resistance at room temperature (usually 20–30 kΩ). Out-of-range readings indicate a faulty sensor.
Replace sensor: Install a new dryer NTC if defective, then run a drying cycle to confirm operation.
