Possible Causes

Clogged inlet water filter screens, Faulty water inlet valve, Low household water pressure or closed tap, Wiring fault between inlet valve and control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the water supply and unplug the appliance before servicing.

  • Step 1 – Check water supply: Ensure the water tap feeding the washer-dryer is fully open. Confirm that other taps in the house have normal pressure.
  • Step 2 – Clean inlet filters: Turn off the tap, disconnect the inlet hose from the back of the machine, and remove the small mesh filters inside the valve ports. Rinse them under running water and remove any limescale or debris. Refit the filters and reconnect the hose securely.
  • Step 3 – Inspect inlet hose: Check for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage. Replace the hose if damaged or heavily scaled.
  • Step 4 – Test inlet valve: With power disconnected, access the top of the machine, locate the water inlet valve, and check the electrical connectors. If you have a multimeter, measure coil resistance (compare with Beko specifications). A coil that is open circuit or significantly out of range indicates a faulty valve that must be replaced.
  • Step 5 – Wiring and PCB: If the valve tests good, inspect the wiring harness from the valve to the main PCB for loose plugs or damaged wires. If all checks pass and E02 remains, the control board may not be energizing the valve and should be evaluated by a technician.
