Washer-dryer stops mid-cycle or will not start drying; drying function not available

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool fully before accessing the drying system.

• Step 1 – Clean lint and condenser (if accessible): Remove the lower front cover or rear cover (model dependent) and clean any accessible lint filters and condenser channels. Blocked airflow can cause overheating and error E06.
• Step 2 – Inspect dryer fan: Locate the dryer fan housing. Check that the fan wheel turns freely and is not obstructed by lint or foreign objects. If the fan is seized or noisy, the fan motor assembly may need replacement.
• Step 3 – Test dryer heater: Identify the dryer heating element terminals. With power disconnected, measure resistance with a multimeter. An open circuit indicates a failed heater that must be replaced with a Beko-compatible dryer heater.
• Step 4 – Check thermostats/thermal cut-outs: Locate the thermostats mounted on or near the dryer heater housing. Test for continuity. Any thermostat that is open circuit at room temperature (and not a resettable type) should be replaced.
• Step 5 – Clear air ducts: Inspect the internal air channels from drum to condenser and outflow. Remove lint build-up to restore proper airflow.
• Step 6 – Wiring and PCB: Verify all connectors to the dryer heater, thermostats, and fan are secure. If all components test correctly and E06 persists, the control board may not be driving the dryer circuit and should be checked by a technician.
