Possible Causes

Door lock mechanism jammed, Faulty door interlock coil, Wiring fault between lock and PCB, PCB not sending unlock signal

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before attempting to open a jammed door. Do not force the door open.

  • Step 1 – Wait for safety delay: After the cycle ends, wait at least 2–3 minutes for the door lock to release. Some models have a built-in delay.
  • Step 2 – Drain water: If water remains in the drum, manually drain via the pump filter. The door will not unlock if the machine senses water inside.
  • Step 3 – Emergency release: Many Beko models have a manual door release near the pump filter (a pull cord or lever). Access the lower front flap, locate the release, and gently pull to open the door.
  • Step 4 – Inspect door lock: With the door open and power disconnected, remove the door seal clamp and access the door lock. Check for signs of overheating, cracking, or mechanical jamming. Replace the door lock assembly if suspect.
  • Step 5 – Wiring and PCB: Check the wiring harness between the lock and PCB. If the lock is new and wiring is intact but E11 persists, the PCB may be faulty and should be checked by a technician.
