Possible Causes
Failed wash heater, Failed dryer heater, Faulty NTC sensor, PCB heater relay or triac failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and allow the appliance to cool before testing heaters.
- Step 1 – Determine which function fails: Check whether the error appears during washing, drying, or both. This helps identify whether the wash heater, dryer heater, or both are involved.
- Step 2 – Test wash heater and NTC: Follow the procedures in E05 to test the wash heating element and tub NTC.
- Step 3 – Test dryer heater and NTC: Follow the procedures in E06 and E12 to test the dryer heater and dryer NTC.
- Step 4 – Inspect wiring and relays: Check all heater-related wiring and connectors. If heaters and sensors are good, the PCB heater relay or triac may be defective and require professional repair or replacement.
