Possible Causes
Broken or slipped drive belt, Faulty motor, Loose motor connector, PCB not supplying power to motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing the rear panel.
- Step 1 – Check belt: Remove the rear panel and inspect the drive belt between motor and drum pulley. If the belt is off or broken, replace it with the correct Beko belt and ensure proper tension.
- Step 2 – Test drum and motor: Rotate the drum by hand to confirm it moves freely. If stiff, see bearing/obstruction faults. If free, test the motor as described in E07.
- Step 3 – Inspect wiring: Ensure the motor connector is fully seated and wiring is intact.
- Step 4 – PCB diagnosis: If belt, motor, and wiring are good, the PCB may not be driving the motor and should be checked by a technician.
