Torn or worn door gasket, Foreign object trapped between door seal and drum, Loose door seal retaining band, Excessive suds foaming over
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and turn off the water supply before inspecting leaks.
- Step 1 – Inspect door seal: Open the door and carefully examine the entire circumference of the rubber gasket. Look for tears, holes, or splits, especially at the bottom.
- Step 2 – Remove foreign objects: Check the gap between the drum and seal for coins, bra wires, or other sharp items. Remove any debris.
- Step 3 – Check retaining bands: Ensure the outer and inner metal or wire clamps holding the seal are tight and correctly seated. Tighten or refit if loose.
- Step 4 – Detergent usage: If foam is visible leaking from the door, reduce detergent quantity and use HE (low-suds) detergent suitable for washer-dryers.
- Step 5 – Replace seal if damaged: If the gasket is torn, remove the front and inner clamps, pull off the old seal, and fit a new Beko-compatible door seal, aligning the drain holes at the bottom.
