Possible Causes
Faulty control panel PCB, Damaged or stuck buttons, Loose ribbon cable between UI and main PCB, Moisture ingress in control panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing the control panel.
- Step 1 – Power reset: Disconnect power for 5–10 minutes, then reconnect and test. This can clear minor software glitches.
- Step 2 – Inspect buttons and dial: Check for physically stuck buttons or a jammed program selector. Clean around buttons and dial with a soft cloth.
- Step 3 – Access control panel: Remove the top cover and unscrew the control panel. Inspect the ribbon cable connection between the UI board and main PCB. Reseat firmly.
- Step 4 – Moisture check: Look for signs of condensation or detergent residue on the UI board. Allow to dry completely and clean carefully if needed.
- Step 5 – Replace UI board: If the panel remains unresponsive, the control panel PCB may be defective and should be replaced with a Beko-compatible module.
