How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Ensure the machine is empty before running cleaning cycles.
- Drum clean cycle: Run a maintenance wash at 90°C with no laundry, using a proprietary washing machine cleaner or a cup of white vinegar (check Belling guidance).
- Clean door seal: Wipe the gasket folds with a cloth and mild detergent. Remove any black mould and debris. Clear drain holes.
- Detergent drawer: Remove the drawer and soak in hot soapy water. Clean the housing with a brush to remove mould and residue.
- Drying habit: After use, leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open to allow ventilation and prevent odours.
