• Pattern check: Note when the trip occurs (during heating, spinning, or filling). This helps identify the suspect circuit.
• Heater test: Disconnect the wash heater and dryer heater one at a time and test insulation with a multimeter between each terminal and earth. Replace any heater with low resistance to earth.
• Motor test: Test motor windings to earth. Replace the motor if insulation is compromised.
• Harness inspection: Look for pinched or rubbed wires contacting the metal cabinet, especially near the drum and door area. Repair or replace as needed.
• Filter: Inspect the mains interference filter for cracks or burning and replace if faulty.
