Machine not level, Transit bolts not removed (on new installation), Worn suspension dampers, Weak or broken springs
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance before adjusting feet or inspecting suspension.
- Check transit bolts: On newly installed Belling washer-dryers, ensure all rear transit bolts have been removed according to the installation manual.
- Level the machine: Use a spirit level and adjust the feet until the cabinet is stable and does not rock. Tighten lock nuts.
- Inspect suspension: Access the underside and check dampers and springs for wear or breakage. Replace worn dampers or broken springs.
- Floor surface: Ensure the machine is on a solid, non-flexing floor. Use anti-vibration pads if necessary.
