Possible Causes
Clogged inlet water filter screens, Faulty water inlet valve, Low household water pressure or closed supply tap, Wiring issue between inlet valve and control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close both hot and cold water supply taps.
- Check water supply: Ensure both Blomberg washer-dryer supply taps are fully open and that household water pressure is adequate. Try opening a nearby faucet to confirm strong flow.
- Clean inlet filters: Disconnect the inlet hoses from the rear of the machine. Inside each valve port there is a small mesh filter. Carefully pull out the filters with needle-nose pliers, rinse under running water, and remove any debris. Reinstall the filters and hoses.
- Inspect hoses: Make sure hoses are not kinked, crushed, or frozen. Straighten or replace as needed.
- Test inlet valve (qualified persons): Remove the top cover, locate the water inlet valve assembly, and check the wiring connector. With a multimeter, verify the coil resistance is within specification (typically 2–4 kΩ; refer to Blomberg service data). If open or shorted, replace the valve.
- Final check: Restore water and power, then run a rinse cycle. If E02 reappears despite good water supply and a new valve, the main control board may not be energizing the valve correctly and should be checked by a technician.
