Possible Causes
Unbalanced load detected by control, Worn or weak suspension shock absorbers, Faulty drum speed feedback (tachometer), Excessive vibration due to shipping bolts left in place
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine before inspecting internal components.
- Redistribute load: Open the door and check if heavy items (e.g., towels, blankets) are bunched on one side. Redistribute laundry evenly and remove some items if the drum is overfilled. Run a spin-only cycle.
- Check installation: Ensure the Blomberg combo is level front-to-back and side-to-side. Adjust the feet and lock the jam nuts. Confirm that all shipping/transport bolts have been removed from the rear of the cabinet.
- Inspect suspension: Remove the rear or front panel (depending on model) and examine the shock absorbers and springs. Look for oil leakage, broken mounts, or excessive play. Replace worn shocks in pairs.
- Test tachometer (qualified persons): If E07 persists with light, balanced loads, test the motor tachometer sensor as described for E06. Replace the motor if the tachometer is defective.
- Final step: After mechanical issues are corrected, run an empty spin cycle. If E07 still appears, the control board's imbalance detection circuit may be faulty and should be evaluated by a technician.
