Possible Causes
Blocked condenser unit, Clogged condenser water spray nozzle, Faulty condenser pump (on some models), Limescale buildup in condenser channels
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before accessing the condenser area.
- Clean condenser (if user-accessible): Some Blomberg washer-dryer combos have a service flap for the condenser. Remove the flap and pull out the condenser unit. Rinse thoroughly under running water to remove lint and limescale. Let it drain and reinstall.
- Check condenser spray nozzle: On models using a water spray to cool the condenser, inspect the nozzle and water line for blockages. Clean with a soft brush and descaling solution if necessary.
- Inspect condenser pump (if fitted): Access the small pump that circulates water through the condenser. Check for obstructions and test for operation. Replace if the pump does not run when commanded.
- Run a maintenance cycle: After cleaning, run a high-temperature wash/dry maintenance cycle (without laundry) to flush the system.
- Professional help: If E10 persists despite cleaning and pump replacement, internal condenser channels may be heavily scaled or the control board may be mismanaging the drying system; contact a technician.
