Possible Causes
Leaking door seal (bellow), Loose or cracked drain hose, Leaking tub-to-pump hose, Faulty detergent dispenser or inlet hose connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and turn off the water supply immediately to prevent further leakage.
- Check visible leaks: Inspect around the door, dispenser drawer, and rear hoses for obvious water trails. Tighten hose clamps and connections as needed.
- Empty base tray: Carefully tilt the machine slightly backward (with assistance) to allow water to drain from the base tray onto towels. Some models have a float switch in the base that must be dried before the error clears.
- Inspect internal hoses: Remove the rear and/or front lower panel to access the tub-to-pump hose, pump, and internal hoses. Look for cracks, loose clamps, or pinholes. Replace any damaged hoses and secure all clamps.
- Check door seal: Examine the rubber door bellow for tears, holes, or mold damage. Replace the seal if leaking.
- Test run: After drying the base and repairing leaks, run a short wash while observing for drips. If E13 reappears, further disassembly may be required and professional service is recommended.
