Washer-dryer does not take fabric softener from dispenser

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing the dispenser drawer.

• Clean softener compartment: Remove the drawer and take off the softener siphon cap (usually a plastic insert). Clean thoroughly under warm water to remove residue.
• Check water jets: Clean the water jets above the softener compartment with a brush.
• Seat drawer correctly: Reinsert the drawer fully so that it engages properly with the housing.
• Test with water: Pour water into the softener compartment; it should siphon out when filled to the mark. If not, re-clean or replace the siphon insert.
