• Verify water supply: Ensure both hot and cold taps (if fitted) are fully open. Check household water pressure by opening a nearby tap.
• Clean inlet filters: Turn off taps, disconnect the inlet hose(s) from the back of the Candy washer-dryer. Inside the valve connections are small mesh filters. Remove and rinse them under running water to clear limescale and debris.
• Check inlet hoses: Inspect hoses for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage. Replace if damaged or heavily scaled.
• Test the inlet valve: With the machine unplugged, remove the top cover. Locate the water inlet valve assembly. Check the coil resistance with a multimeter; an open circuit coil indicates a faulty valve that must be replaced.
• Inspect pressure system: Locate the pressure switch (usually near the top) and its thin rubber hose going to the tub/air chamber. Ensure the hose is not kinked, split, or blocked with detergent residue. Blow gently through the hose (disconnected) to clear any blockage.
• Reassemble and test: Reconnect hoses, open taps, plug in, and run a rinse cycle to confirm proper filling.

When to call a technician: If the valve and pressure system are fine but E02 persists, the main PCB may not be energizing the valve correctly and should be checked professionally.
