Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance. Be prepared for some residual water when accessing the condenser area.
Step-by-step checks:
- Clean the condenser: If your Candy combo has a removable condenser at the front bottom, open the flap, release the condenser, and rinse it thoroughly under running water to remove lint and detergent residue.
- Clear lint from ducts: Inspect the air inlet and outlet ducts around the door and inside the machine. Use a soft brush and vacuum to remove lint build-up.
- Check condenser pump (if fitted): Some models use a small pump to move condensed water back to the tub. Access the pump from the bottom or rear, check for blockages and test for operation. Replace if not running.
- Clean moisture sensors: Inside the drum, near the door opening, there are usually two metal strips that act as moisture sensors. Wipe them thoroughly with a cloth and a little white vinegar to remove fabric softener film.
- Reassemble and test: Run a short drying cycle and check if the error clears and drying continues normally.
When to call a technician: If airflow is clear and sensors are clean but E07 persists, the control board or sensor wiring may be faulty and should be inspected by a technician.
